Works to this existing character weatherboard house focused on

remodeling an existing low ceilinged enclosed sleepout into a

light filled sunroom and study that relates to the private garden.

Bespoke joinery bestows a specific function to areas within,

freeing up floor space.

Variable control of privacy, light and security is achieved through

a series of movable slatted timber screens. The horizontal distribution

complements the lineal nature of existing weatherboards.

The new adjacent fence form is a playful and functional threshold

between public and private areas. It houses a potting shed,

bin storage, bench seat and gatehouse.
